Who we are

A Christian Discipleship Home for Young Adults

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.
ACTS 2:42-44

Be a light to the world. Join a community of believers digging into deeper presence of God in the midst of life day after day.
The ebbs and flows of life are ever changing. Dig deeper into your relationship with God. Find His presence.

OUR FOUNDERS

Craig and Shelly Miller are the founders of Immersion.

It was birthed from a word the Lord spoke to Shelly more than thirty years ago. She was sitting by the window looking out at a snowstorm, and the Lord spoke to her and said: "you see the number of snowflakes out there? That's the number of people I'm raising up to be in my army. Do you want to be a part of it?" Since that time, Craig and Shelly have been praying for this army of young people. In recent years God gave them vision to open Immersion, a place where young people could live and be trained to go deeper in their faith and relationship with Jesus. Craig is a retired engineer and also spent time in Kenya as a missionary.

Shelly is a Young Adult pastor at New Hope in Waterford; and has been an ordained minister for 18 years. She is also a third year instructor of prayer and evangelism at the Kodesh School of Ministry in Rochester.

They have three adult aged children and one grandchild.

The ebbs and flows of life are ever changing. Dig deeper into your relationship with God. Find His presence.
